Volunteer Application:
You may fill out an application and send it to us at our office in Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department at 3629 South D St., Tacoma, WA 98418 or scan and email it to us at mrc@tpchd.org. You may view our Volunteer Handbook here.
Volunteer Requirements:
To on-board as a volunteer, you must complete:
- A volunteer application.
- The orientation video (below).
- The orientation quiz (inside application).
- FEMA 100 course and test.
- FEMA 700 course and test.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Tests:
To access the required FEMA tests, visit https://training.fema.gov/ or click on the links below. To take the tests, you must first register in FEMA’s Student Identification System for a Student Identification number (SID) if you do not yet have one. Using your SID and login information, you may access the tests.
