Volunteer Application:

To complete our MRC application use the Pierce County MRC Volunteer Hub Portal. This website allows volunteers to complete and upload each part of the application to a specific location and view upcoming volunteer events. You must create an account before you can fill out the application and sign-up for events.

Volunteer Requirements:

To on-board as a volunteer, you must complete:

  • A volunteer application.
  • The orientation video (below).
  • The orientation quiz (inside application).
  • FEMA 100 course and test.
  • FEMA 200 course and test.
  • FEMA 700 course and test.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Tests:

To access the required FEMA tests, visit or click on the links below. To take the tests, you must first register in FEMA’s Student Identification System for a Student Identification number (SID) if you do not yet have one. Using your SID and login information, you may access the tests.
